A Night Out at Kitty Su, The Lalit

Kitty Su, The Lalit

Although I am not a party animal but yes I love visiting and exploring lounges & pubs. Dim lights, huge couches, cocktails, music, amazing crowd and friends - make me fall in love with such places over and over again. A few days ago I got free passes for the lounge Kitty Su and I was super excited to visit there. But, like our Indian TV soaps how could everything go right. Here comes the twist - The timing for the party was 10:30 PM to 5:30 AM. I knew mom would not agree and thought of giving the passes to someone else. But, as they say “if there is a will, there is a way”. I convinced my mom and went there with a friend. (PS: It was my first night out all alone and it was so difficult to hold my excitement.)

After wandering here and there on Delhi roads, we finally reached The Lalit. Lalit is one among the top 5 start hotels known for its opulence around the country. After tying the band (the way we used to do during school picnics :D), we stepped inside Kitty Su. It was a different world altogether. After comforting ourselves at the corner most couch, I kept on checking and checking the entire place.

The outcome of this surveillance session is a list of Hits & Misses.

What I Liked About Kitty Su?

There are so many things that I liked about this place and just hoping that I don’t forget to mention any of them here.

  • Cozy Ambiance
The Look & Feel of the place is the first thing that I noticed and it was real modish. It was all dark except a few dimly lit corners. The couches were really huge and comfortable too. The lounge was quite spacious and I am sure you will never bump into somebody.

  • Music
Songs played by the DJ out there were real amazing. Trust me, they can push anyone to groove & shake a leg on the floor. Not to forget, there was ample of empty space where you can dance with your friends.

  • Food
Though we didn’t eat much there but yes we tried a mocktail (Virgin Mojito) and Fully Loaded Nachos. The preparation and presentation of Nachos was superb. I wish we could try out some more dishes but never mind. There is always a next time.

Areas that Need Improvement

  • ·         Service Can Get Better

Personally, I believe the service was slow and there is a scope of improvement.

  • ·         A Better Menu for Mocktails

There was an all-embracing menu which included almost every type of hard drink but I believe mocktails also deserve some space. The section for mocktails was really small and was not informative at all.
Overall, it was a great experience and would love to visit this place again with my friends or maybe family.
